In an effort to make the college application process more equitable, Shattered Ceilings works with several pro bono students with a slightly modified version of our All In program.
Over a minimum of a year, Francesca simultaneously introduces students to cutting-edge leadership development and women's empowerment strategies while guiding the student through all components of the college application and Common App process:
Eligibility
Students who meet the following criteria are eligible for the Shattered Ceilings Pro Bono Program
Over a minimum of a year, Francesca simultaneously introduces students to cutting-edge leadership development and women's empowerment strategies while guiding the student through all components of the college application and Common App process:
- Drafting and perfecting a Common App essay
- Creating Supplemental essays
- So. Much. Editing.
- Developing an extracurricular strategy
- Highlighting activities, honors, and awards
- Sharpening resume
Eligibility
Students who meet the following criteria are eligible for the Shattered Ceilings Pro Bono Program
- Female-identifying
- Current junior in high school (or current senior if you intend to take a gap year)
- Ability to commit at absolute minimum 3 hours a week on average to the college application process
- GPA of at least 3.0 (or equivalent in your education system)
- Ability to get waivers or pay for required standardized tests
- For non-Native English speakers, strong English proficiency
- Family that identifies as low-income (I use this resource as a guideline for qualifying income levels)
